About Brent Draper

Born on the 2nd May 1989 in Beaudesert, QLD.

The eldest of four kids, Dad spent his working life in the meat industry whilst Mum wrangled the kids.

Spent a few years on the road travelling Australia in a small caravan with my family growing up, where we spent time living in Katherine, NT.

My first job out of school was concrete pumping before I did my apprenticeship as a Boilermaker in Brisbane.

Met my wife in 2011 (we were neighbours), we moved to Perth, WA shortly after and fell in love with the rugged coastline.

I've always been a mad waterman, with my greatest love being surfing. 

Married the love of my life Shonleigh in 2016, in a small ceremony overlooking our favourite beach in Coolangatta.

A couple of years later, our son was born (almost in our bedroom!) in Palm Beach, QLD.

I now live in the Northern Rivers, NSW and couldn't imagine calling anywhere else 'home' - it's the perfect combination of beach and hinterland!
